What We've Learned, Where We're Headed (Public Meeting)
In the midst of a global pandemic, the Reagan-Udall Foundation for the FDA, along with Friends of Cancer Research, created an unprecedented regulatory science collaborative to share real-world data and to generate innovative responses on how to deal with COVID-19.
Two years, more than 100 meetings, and 275 expert presentations later, the COVID-19 Evidence Accelerator has helped advance the nation’s use and application of real-world data.
Since its inception at the request of the FDA, the COVID-19 Evidence Accelerator has been a forum for key players across the health care ecosystem to share real-world data and evaluate new diagnostics, treatments, and vaccines for COVID-19. The Evidence Accelerator provided a unique framework for sharing and advancing ideas.
We invite the broader scientific community to join us on October 20 at 1 PM ET as we highlight accomplishments and share learnings, including how best to leverage real-world data and improve data interoperability, to address current and future health challenges. Engaging panel discussions will include:
• FDA leadership perspectives on the COVID-19 Evidence Accelerator
• Research findings and methodologies
• How COVID-19 and the Evidence Accelerator have changed our approach to real-world data
